Ben Faires is the managing director of Capital Markets & Outreach for Boeing Capital Corporation (BCC), a wholly owned Boeing subsidiary that is primarily responsible for arranging, structuring and providing financing for Boeing airplanes and other products.

Prior to his current role, Faires served as senior director of Customer Finance for Asia Pacific and India for BCC. In that position, he was responsible for arranging third party financing, origination and administration of transactions and coordinating capital markets outreach activities.

Over the past decade, Faires has held various management positions working directly with airline customers and financiers in Asia Pacific, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. Earlier in his career, Faires served as regional director of Airline Financial Analysis at Boeing Commercial Airplanes where he presented the value of Boeing products and services to airline customers and leasing companies.

Faires previously served as an account manager for BCC’s Capital Markets and Outreach organization where he developed multiple Current Aircraft Financing Market Outlooks. He also managed relationships with the U.S. Export-Import Bank and Aircraft Finance Insurance Consortium.

Faires holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Western Washington University. As an undergraduate, Faires completed a two year internship in the corporate finance department at Alaska Airlines. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, traveling, reading and outdoor activities.
