Mark Streeter, Managing Director, is the senior publishing (sell-side) analyst in North America Credit Research at J.P. Morgan responsible for investment grade (IG) and high yield (HY) credit coverage of the Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and Transportation (Airline, Aircraft Leasing, Rail, Freight, Shipping) sectors. Mark’s nearly 30yr career in real estate finance (the first six as a banker, the last 23 as a researcher) tracks the rise of REITs as an asset class. Since 2000, Mark has led J.P. Morgan's Transportation credit research team. Mark specializes in the public aircraft debt markets and shares equity coverage of the public aircraft lessors. Mark has advised investors and issuers on capital markets transactions totaling >$250 billion. Mark, a CFA, is a 54x member of the Institutional Investor "All-America Fixed Income Research Team", most recently in 2021 as the #1 ranked analyst in IG REITs, IG Transportation, and HY Transportation. Mark has earned a #1 ranking 31x. Mark has taught REIT credit at SNL's REIT School over the years and is an active speaker at the major real estate and aviation focused industry conferences. Mark served as a program coordinator for the NAREIT Institutional Investor Forum. Mark has also testified before Congressional hearings on airline credit quality and pension reform. On behalf of the Aviation Working Group, Mark advised FASB on lease accounting rule changes. Mark is currently a non-appraiser board member of the ISTAT International Appraisers’ Program Board of Governors and serves as a Trustee for the ISTAT Foundation. Mark has been a member of The Fixed Income Analyst Society and formerly co-chaired FIASI's Program Committee. Mark served on FIASI's Board for two years as well. Mark has held memberships in The Wings Club, ISTAT, NAREIT, the Urban Land Institute, and the International Council of Shopping Centers. Mark received his MBA degree from Columbia University and a BS degree magna cum laude from Boston College.
